Relish Creative founder, Brian Button got his start pushing a broom. At the age of 14, in the sweltering summer months in Northern California, from 5am to 5pm, he pushed a broom across a dusty shop floor. His dad called it work ethic. Brian called it many things, none of which would be appropriate to repeat here.

That same year, and every year since, commercials during the Big Game were his favorite part (back when FedEx and Pepsi ruled them all). This was baffling to his dad but inspiring to Brian. “You can make money by coming up with ideas??” was the cliche lightbulb moment that would influence the rest of his life.

After stints at the Art Institute of CA (San Diego) and Miami Ad School (SF), he swapped the broom for a keyboard where he was a creative director on brands like Armor All, Clorox, eBay, Google, Taco Bell, and YouTube at agencies like AKQA, DDB, and Digitas.

From there he went client-side at companies like Lyft, DoorDash, and Instacart where he got to influence, shape, and scale each of those brands. Looking back, that was the work he relished most: working alongside founders, entrepreneurs, CMOs, marketers, and creatives to build a brand. It was those experiences that inspired Brian to found Relish Creative, where he consults and advises on all things creative, brand, and marketing.
